New Sampdoria goalkeeper Emiliano Viviano is hoping to revitalise his career after completing a move to the Stadio Ferraris.
After spending last season on loan to Arsenal where he did not manage a single appearance, Viviano now returns to Italy in hopes of maintaining first team football, whilst speaking of his ambitions and excitement at joining the Blucerchiati.
“There is a great desire in the squad, which is important,” he told the press. “I have not played for a full year and I have great desire. I am very happy.”
The goalkeeper also commented on his new coach Sinisa Mihajlovic stating, “Mihaljovic is a very straight forward person. What you see is what you get.”
