Wolfsburg will turn to AC Milan striker Giampaolo Pazzini after being rejected by Roma’s Mattia Destro.
The German club were believed to have been snubbed by Destro after having a €25 million offer accepted last week by Roma.
Sport Italia report that Wolfsburg will continue their striker search in the Serie A by targeting Milan poacher Pazzini.
They may struggle to prise the former Sampdoria hitman away as well however, with Pazzini a big fan of new Rossoneri coach Filippo Inzaghi, and may also want to stay at the club.
Developments are expected in the coming weeks as Wolfsburg intensify their striker search.
