cristoph kramerGerman midfielder Christoph Kramer has stated he would welcome an offerfrom Napoli and isn’t afraid of playing outside the Bundesliga.

The 23-year old World Cup winner is owned by Bayer Leverkuesen but will begin his second season on loan at Borussia Monchengladbach after serving a two-year loan spell at VfL Bochum, but now the defensive midfielder appears ready to move onto a new adventure.

Kramer was interviewed by German newspaper Express and expressed his desire to find a permanent home wherever that road may lead.

“I have to thank Bayer for my opportunity but it’s not good to keep moving back and forth. I’m the only one who will decide my future,” Kramer stated.

During Die Mannschaft’s World Cup run, Napoli were linked with Kramer but talk had cooled as the Partenopei targeted other players.

However the pursuit may now accelerate as the Azzurri still haven’t landed a replacement for Valon Behrami.

“[Sporting Director Rudi] Voeller wants me back at Leverkusen in 2015 and I’ll listen to what they have to say,” Kramer said.

“Clubs like Napoli and Manchester United were interested in me and it would be great if an offer came in for my services.”

Bayer has already spurned an offer from Portuguese club Benfica to maintain Kramer’s services.
