Zenit St Petersburg have reentered the picture hoping to add Inter’s Fredy Guarin.
The Nerazzurri have been willing to part with the 28 year old to balance the books and English sides Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur have shown interest.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport, the Russian side have been interested in the Colombian midfielder for awhile, but Guarin hasn’t been to interested in the club.
However, with the transfer deadline looming Guarin appears to be warming to the idea of moving to Russia as a transfer elsewhere looks increasingly unlikely.
Guarin has been with the Nerazzurri since July 2012, joining from Porto for €11 million.
Last season. he made 34 appearances in all competitions, scoring four goals and adding 13 assists. His four assists in the Coppa Italia were the most in the competition.
