AC Milan fullback Ignazio Abate is still celebrating after winning a nine-goal thriller against Parma, and has praised the character of the team.
The Rossoneri emerged 5-4 victors in a game which contained two red cards, a comical own goal, and a sublime backheel winner.
“We’re still cheering for last night! Big heart, great group… see you Saturday night at #SanSiro!”, Abate posted on his official Instagram account, accompanying a photo of the player with fellow Italy international Giampaolo Pazzini.
The victory ensured that Milan have dropped no points since the start of the season, playing two games.
The fan favourite has played 137 league games since emerging from the club’s youth academy.
