AC Milan defender Adil Rami was full of praise for teammate Jeremy Menez after the Frenchman’s standout performance in the Rossoneri’s 5-4 win over Parma on Sunday.
The spectacular encounter was decided by an audacious back heel goal from the forward, though Rami was not surprised to see him pull off such a move.
“We all know that Menez is a great player. He can do everything on the field and is especially strong one on one,” he stated to Sky Sport Italia after the match.
The Frenchman has been a key part of the Rossoneri’s 100% record so far, scoring three goals in two games including a spectacular striker against Parma that is already a contender for goal of the season.
Despite starting from the bench once again, Rami was calm about the situation.
“I always try to do my job and it is the coach who will make the choices about who he plays. Everything else is up to destiny.”
