AC Milan are looking to soften the blow of losing out on Jonathan Biabiany by turning to Atalanta midfielder Giacomo Bonaventura.

The Rossoneri wanted to land the French winger but a deal for him fell through and he now looks set to remain with the Crociati.

Instead, reports from within that famous Ata Hotel suggest that they have now turned their attentions to the man nicknamed ‘Jack’.

However, they could face a fight to secure his services with city rivals Inter also keen to land Bonaventura.

Inter have ruled themselves out of any late activity unless La Dea are open to discussions over the 25-year-old.
