Benfica are reportedly close to sealing a move for AC Milan midfielder Bryan Cristante.
The Primeira Liga champions need to strengthen their midfield and the 19 year old’s first team opportunities for the Rossoneri have been dented with the arrival of Marco Van Ginkel.
Sky Sport Italia are reporting that negotiations between the two clubs are ongoing with the deal to be completed before the close of the summer transfer market.
It is believed the Rossoneri are looking for a fee of €6 million for the player.
Cristante is a highly regarded young player having come through the Milan’s youth system. He made his debut for the club as a 16 year old coming on as a substitute in a Champions League match against Viktoria Plzen in 2011.
