The agent of young Lazio star Keita Balde has confirmed that the club rejected €20 million bids from Juventus and Liverpool in the summer.
The 19 year old Spanish striker enjoyed a breakout campaign with the Biancocelesti last season, and his form has alerted the attention of bigger clubs around Europe.
“Liverpool and Juventus arrived with €20 million offers for Keita last summer, but Lazio have always responded by rejecting any proposals,” his agent Angelo Cascellla told Spanish news portal EFE.
Keita started in the 3-1 loss at AC Milan in the opening weekend of the Serie A campaign, and will be hoping to get off the mark at home when the capital club play host to Cesena.
