Inter and Borussia Dortmund have now been joined by Arsenal in the chase for Basel centre back Fabian Schar.
The 22-year-old defender has been attracting interest from several European clubs since his appearance for the Switzerland National Team at the World Cup in Brazil this year.
English champions Arsenal is very keen on a January move for Schar as they look to augment their defensive options which have taken a hit due to injuries, and the departure of Thomas Vermaelen to Barcelona, according to Talksport.
A former bank clerk, Schar has won the Swiss Super League and Uhren Cup with Basel and has been valued at over €12 million by the Swiss champions.
