English Premier League giants Arsenal are contemplating a last ditch bid to bring Juventus striker Sebastian Giovinco to the UK.
Any potential deal would be complicated as Juventus are not keen to sell but this has not put off Arsene Wenger’s side.
According to reports in Metro, the Gunners are in desperate need of a striker and the London club have made enquiries as to the availability of the player affectionately known as the ‘Atomic Ant’.
With a lengthy injury to French international forward Olivier Giroud, Wenger has only a few hours left to land a player before the transfer window shuts.
Giovinco has been a periphery figure for the Bianconeri, featuring only sporadically for the Italian champions. He has however, been called up to the latest Italy squad for the upcoming friendlies by new national team coach Antonio Conte.
