AC Milan midfielder Bryan Cristante has completed his move to Primeira Liga champions Benfica.
The promising 19 year old has moved to Portugal after a fee of €6 million was agreed between the two clubs earlier today.
The Rossoneri confirmed the deal on their official website after the player completed his medical in Portugal.
Milan have been busy in the transfer window and the signing of Marco Van Ginkel left little room for the Italian under 19 midfielder who will now try his luck outside of Serie A.
Much was expected at Milan of Cristante who made his debut at 16 in 2011 when he became the Rossoneri’s youngest ever player to play in the Champions League. Opportunities for first team football were hard to come by, however, and he leaves with a record of three appearances and one goal.
