Bologna are close to finalizing a deal for Genoa midfielder Riccardo Improta.
The 20 year old midfielder spent last season on two different loans from the Rossoblu to Chievo and Padova in Serie B.
According to Tuttomercatoweb, the move will be a loan to Bologna for the under 21 Italian international.
While at Chievo last season, Improta made three appearances in Serie A and another two in the Coppa Italia, totaling 233 minutes.
While with Biancoscudeti, Improta saw more playing time. He made 19 appearances in Serie B, scoring seven goals and adding one assist.
Despite playing in less than half of the Biancoscudeti’s Serie B matches, he was the team joint top scorer as the side finished in 20th and were relegated.
