Giacomo Bonaventura could seal a deadline day move from Atalanta to Inter.

The 25-year-old attacking midfielder had been linked with a move away from Bergamo throughout the summer despite kicking off the season for Atalanta in their weekend opener against Hellas Verona.

Speaking to fcinternews.it, the player’s agent, Giocondo Martorelli, refused to rule out a move for his client.

“Inter for Bonaventura? Currently there is no news,” Martorelli said.

“If the move is still possible? It’s a guess.”

His performances last season have resulted in reported interest from all of Italy’s top teams, with Atalanta’s Pierpaolo Marino, claiming last year that every club in the top six had contacted them regarding Bonaventura.

The Italian attacking midfielder made 29 appearances in Serie A for the Orobici last season, scoring five goals and assisting a further three for his teammates.
