Cesena coach Pierpaolo Bisoli has said that he is certain that his side can avoid relegation this season.

The Cavallucci Marini defeated Parma 1-0 at the Stadio Dino Manuzzi courtesy of Alejandro Rodriguez’s lone goal.

Speaking in the press conference after the game, Bisoli answered many questions regarding the transfer market, in addition to giving updates about the conditions of Franco Brienza and Daniele Capelli.

“We first have to take a look at what we need and then look at the budget,” he started. “We have to be patient, though.

“We won’t cry over a player unless he is [Marco] van Basten.

“Brienza and Capelli were both substituted because of cramps; Capelli sustained the cramp because of the pressure.”

Bisoli then praised 31-year-old midfielder Giuseppe De Feudis who made his Serie A debut on Sunday, whilst also heaping praise on the side.

“Beppe [De Feudis] is a player whose presence makes a big difference” he said. “Now he has finally made his debut in Serie A.

“Our midfielders played a great game against a side which finished in the UEFA Europa League places last season.

“Today we wrote another page in the history of the club; up until the 70 minute mark we saw a great Cesena.

“I am certain that we can avoid relegation this season.”

It is also worth mentioning that the Cavallucci Marini are set to play their next game away to Lazio on the 14th of September.
