Centre back Giorgio Chiellini was a relieved man after helping his side to a hard fought 2-0 home victory over Malmo in the Champions Legaue last night.
The Bianconeri struggled to break down their opponent for much of the game, but a Carlos Tevez brace eventually gave Juve the important three points.
“It was not easy to start so well in the Champions League, it was a tough match,” he told Sky Sport Italia.
“We are delighted that we won, for the goals from Tevez and not having conceded.
“But this is just the start. We have to do well in Europe without easing up in Serie A.”
The tough tackling defender missed the weekend league victory over Udinese, but proved his fitness to play an integral part in his side’s opening Champions League fixture against the Swedes, at the Juventus Stadium.
