New Italy coach Antonio Conte believes that Chievo forward Alberto Paloschi is similar to ex-Italy striker Filippo Inzaghi.
Conte was on a visit to Chievo’s training ground and believes Paloschi is a great finisher.
“Paloschi looks very much like Inzaghi.” Conte told Chievo’s official website.
“He has great qualities as a finisher.
“He must still grow but he is someone who I will follow with interest.
“I was very impressed by the structures of Chievo, I congratulated the president.
“Coach Corini is doing very well, now he can show his value.
“Bardi is a very good goalkeeper but Italy have a lot of strength in depth in that department.
“Behind Buffon we have Sirugu, and Marchetti but also Perin, Padelli, Sportiello and of course Bardi.”
