Ashley Cole has dismissed rumors of him considering leaving Roma and insists that he is enjoying life at the Italian capital.
The former England international, who joined the Giallorossi this summer over a free transfer from Chelsea, is back in England with his new club amid suggestions are that the defender is unhappy at the Serie A giants and is considering a move to the American MLS.
“I love playing in Italy and I love Italy, the players are technically different because they play with pace, and our coach is very good,” he told the press.
“Leaving Chelsea? The decision to leave was not wrong. Those eight years for me were important, but now I am a Roma player.”
“Could I play better now, of course, if I will allowed to play more games, ” added the defender.
