AC Milan midfielder Nigel De Jong believes that the Diavolo must continue to play as a team if they hope to keep doing well this season.
The Rossoneri were able to secure an exciting 5-4 victory in their away match against Parma on Sunday and the 29-year-old feels that the key to success is for a player to be willing to give his all to his club and his team-mates.
De Jong spoke through his official Twitter page after the win over the Crociati about the importance of playing together and putting in full effort on the pitch.
“Results will come as long as you give 100 per cent to the man next to you,” wrote the Dutch international, who scored AC Milan’s fourth goal of the match in the second half.
“Let’s continue like this, guys. Forza Milan.”
The San Siro outfit are now preparing to host reigning Serie A champions Juventus at home next on September 20.
