AC Milan midfielder Nigel De Jong is set to continue his time at the San Siro with a new contract reportedly close.
The Dutch international is currently in discussions with vice-president Adriano Galliani to extend his deal, which expires in June 2015.
According to reports from MilanNews.it, the agreement will most likely be found on the foundation of a two-year extension, which will see the 29-year-old remain at the club until 2017.
Financially, however, he will most likely have his current salary reduced.
De Jong has made 46 appearances for the club since arriving from Manchester City in 2012.
