Parma coach Roberto Donadoni was satisfied with his teams performance in their victory away to Chievo.

The Crociati defeated the Flying Donkeys 3-2 in Verona and Donadoni believed that his team was always in control.

“Honestly, we were in the game even at 1-0. [W]e were missing only a pinch more of malice, which put us in the recovery queue,” Donadoni told Sky Sport Italia.

“Chievo were worse in the first half and we created some problems, although I would say that their goal came for our carelessness rather than for their merit.

“We played openly with AC Milan [and] the result didn’t arrive but something important had already glimpsed.

“Today we have gathered in the fruit, although there is still room for improvement.”

Substitute Massimo Coda made an impact from the bench by scoring one goal and creating two for Antonio Cassano and Donadoni was impressed with his performance.

“He had done very well in Slovenia. [T]his year I wanted to see him and immediately gave me a positive feeling,” said Donadoni.

“If he continues to work with this determination, it is easier for him to find space.”
