AC Milan have been handed a boast ahead of Saturday’s top of the table clash against Juventus with the news that both Stephan El Shaarawy and Fernando Torres have returned to training.

El Shaarawy missed Milan’s thrilling 5-4 win over Parma due to an ankle injury he picked up while on international duty, while Torres is yet to make his debut for the club following his loan move from Chelsea. Like his Italian colleague the Spaniard has been struggling with fitness issues.

There had been concerns in the Rossoneri camp that both players may not have been healthy enough to feature against Juventus.

However, the pair were back training with their team mates this morning and should now be available to face Massimiliano Allegri’s Bianconeri at the San Siro on Saturday.

Milan have won their first two games of the season for the first time since 2006, however Saturdays game against the champions will give fans a far better indication of their teams progress under Filippo Inzaghi.
