Juventus full back Patrice Evra was full of praise for his new team mates as the Bianconeri defeated Udinese 2-0 at the Juventus stadium.
Carlos Tevez and Claudio Marchisio were on target in something of a routine win for the Bianconeri.
The ex-Manchester United defender spoke to Sky Sport Italia after Saturday night’s match and said, “Playing in Italy is very different to playing in the Premier League.
“In Italy it’s much more tactical and you must concentrate all the time. I’ve never worked so hard in training!”
After being asked about the impact his new team can have in the Champions League, Evra commented, “Here we have some great players and I know we can do great things. We can do much better than what was achieved last season.”
Evra has only recently joined the Italian champions after leaving English giants Manchester United in the summer.
