Fabio Cannavaro had nothing but praise for Roma after their 5-1 win over CSKA Moscow and in particular on coach Rudi Garcia’s decisions.
The Giallorossi now sit top of Group E after the win, while in the group’s other fixture, Bayern Munich beat Manchester City 1-0 thanks to a last gasp Jerome Boateng goal.
“You see from the decisions of the coach, Roma has offered a great performance right from the start.” Cannavaro told Mediaset Premium.
And while the 5-1 victory is praiseworthy, he also offered his opinion on the rest of Roma’s group matches, observing, “Now Roma will have to go to Manchester to face Manchester City in England, a draw might work for qualification.”
Roma now take on Cagliari in Serie A on Sunday in Serie A.
