Fiorentina have reached an agreement to sign Atalanta target Jasmin Kurtic from Sassuolo.

The Slovenian spent the second half of the 2013-14 Serie A season on loan at Torino where he made 16 appearances and scored two goals.

According to TuttoMercatoWeb, the Viola’s sporting director Daniele Prade has spoken with the player’s agent and the various parties have come to an agreement to take the former Palermo player to the Stadio Artemio Franchi on a loan deal with an option to make the deal permanent.

Kurtic’s Slovenian teammate Josip Illicic previously acknowledged that his compatriot was keen on a move to Tuscany and the pair were looking forward to linking up together for Vincenzo Montella’s side.

Kurtic featured 18 times for Sassuolo in the 2013-14 season before his temporary move to Torino.
