Free agent Innocent Emeghara has emerged as a possible target for Fiorentina as the Viola’s search for a new striker continues.
The 25 year old has been without a club since the summer after scoring four goals in Serie A for Livorno while on loan from Siena last season.
The striker could be set for a move to Tuscany, and according to Firezeviola.it, the player would be interested in any approach.
Fiorentina have repeated they have no plans to search the market for free agents to replace the injured Giuseppe Rossi, instead opting to offer young striker Khouma Babacar the chance to impress.
This comes after news that Rossi is facing up to five months out after undergoing yet another operation on his right knee.
Emeghara has made nine appearances for Switzerland, having moved from Nigeria at the age of 13, and beginning his career at FC Zurich in the Swiss capital.
