Fiorentina have announced that Sassuolo midfielder Jasmin Kurtic has signed on a season-long loan deal.
The Viola rode off interest from Leeds United to secure the Slovenian’s signature.
Kurtic spent the second half of the 2013-14 campaign on loan at Torino after sealing a deadline day move on 31 January from the Neroverdi.
The 25-year-old registered two goals for Toro in 16 Serie A appearances last season. He also has one international goal in 18 caps to his name.
With Palermo and Varese also on his resume, the Viola will be Kurtic’s fifth Serie A side in four years following his 2011 move to Sicily from Slovenian outfit Gorica.
