Fiorentina striker Mounir El Hamdaoui could now be set for a move to Tunisian outfit Club Africain in January.
The 30 year old Moroccan international is surplus to requirements at the Viola, but could not find a suitable team to move to before the close of the transfer window.
Last week the striker was reported to be close to a move back to his homeland with Wydad Casablanca, but Club Africain’s sporting director confirmed negotiations to bring El Hamdaoui to the Tunisian outfit.
“There have been negotiations to bring El Hamdaoui to Club Africain, but we’ll talk again in December,” Montassar Louhichi told Firenzeviola.it.
The striker spent last season on loan at Spanish side Malaga, but failed to make an impact only netting three times.
