AC Milan goalkeeper Gabriel is pleased to have been sent out on loan to gain first-team experience, but hopes to still be at the Rossoneri next season.
The Brazilian stopper is moving to Serie B side Carpi for the season, in his first loan move away from Milan since his arrival two years ago.
“I’m going on loan to Carpi and I’m happy for this new opportunity”, the 21-year-old said on his official Instagram account.
“Milan is a great club, of which I will always be a fan and I hope to return soon. Again Forza Milan.”
Gabriel has the distinction of making his debut for the Brazil national side before he made a club appearance, playing against Sweden in 2012.
