AC Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani has revealed his delight at the Rossoneri’s dealing during the transfer window, hailing loan striker Fernando Torres as an exceptional addition for the club.
The Diavolo were very active in the transfer market, signing a number of established players including Diego Lopez and Alex, though Torres’ signing is one that Galliani is particularly happy with.
“[Milan president Silvio Berlusconi] is happy with the transfers, and very much likes Torres,” Galliani stated to reporters as reported by MilanNews.it.
“We have not yet seen him on the field of play but he is an extraordinary person. If his performance on the pitch is similar to his human capacities then it would be amazing.”
“Also with the arrival of [Giacomo] Bonaventura and [Marco] van Ginkel, AC Milan has been strengthened.”
