Inter captain Andrea Ranocchia has spoken of his frustration in not winning trophies with the club.

The Nerrazzurri have endured a fallow period over the past four years, their last achievement being the 2010/2011 Coppa Italia.

Speaking to radio programme Deejay Football Club, the 26 year old Italian defender said, “We hope to finish high in the league this season, I’m tired of not winning I want to win something.

“None of us [the squad] entered the game not to win.”

Inter are unbeaten so far in the Serie A drawing their first game with Torino before putting seven past Sassuolo on Sunday.

Ranocchia joined Inter in 2010 and has gone to make 98 appearances scoring four goals and replaced long term captain Javier Zanetti as the Argentine retired last season.
