Inter are reportedly set to reward sporting director Piero Ausilio’s work in the transfer market with a new contract.

Ausilio took over from the much maligned Marco Branca earlier this year, and despite his short time in the position, it appears he has already managed to impress president Erick Thohir.

FcInterNews.it report that Nerazzurri boss is  keen to secure Ausilio to a new deal, considering his current one ends in June 2015.

The intention would be to extend his deal to 2017, along with a pay rise as a reward for the work he has done since taking the job.

The Nerazzurri are coming off an impressive 7-0 victory over Sassuolo on Sunday, with two goals coming from new signings Pablo Osvaldo.
