The agent of Fredy Guarin has confirmed that the player is staying with Inter.
It had been widely expected that the Colombian midfielder was to leave the Nerazzurri with clubs such as Valencia, Manchester United and Galatasaray having made enquiries.
However, Guarin’s agent Marcelo Ferreyra has told Tuttomercatoweb.com that the 28-year-old is “staying at Inter 100 percent.”
It had been thought that Real Madrid were close to a deal but Ferreyra has confirmed that it will not go through, saying “Real Madrid did not come with any €15 million requested by the Nerazzurri, but only a €3 million plus €12 million and wouldn’t have any non-EU slot free.”
Guarin joined Inter in 2011 from Porto and has gone on to make 74 appearances scoring 12 times
