Fredy Guarin’s reported move to Valencia will facilitate Inter signing one of Ezequiel Lavezzi, Fabio Borini, or Daniele Baselli.

Inter coach Walter Mazzarri has reportedly been trying to sell the Colombian all summer in order to fund a move for a creative attacking midfielder.

QS Sport are reporting that Valenica are close to finalising a deal for the 28-year-old, which has intensified Inter’s negotiations with Liverpool and PSG over moves for Borini and Lavezzi respectively.

The report also states that neither club appears interested in allowing their players to join the Nerrazzurri on loan with an option to buy deal.

According to Gazzetta Dello Sport, Inter have therefore opened up talks with Atalanta for 22-year-old Daniele Baselli who would reportedly cost €10 million.

Baselli made 28 appearances for Atalanta in the Serie A last season setting up two goals in the process.
