Inter star Mateo Kovacic is in huge doubt for his side’s clash at Palermo this weekend with a groin injury.
The 20-year-old Croatian international missed the Europa League win over Dnipro on Thursday with a groin injury, and is expected to miss the upcoming Serie A fixture as well, according to Tuttomercatoweb.
If Kovacic does play a part at the Renzo Barbera, it will be more than likely from the substitutes bench, as boss Walter Mazzarri would be loathe to risk him from the start.
Kovacic has enjoyed a brilliant start to the season scoring four goals in as many appearances for the Nerazzurri in all competitions.
