AC Milan coach Filippo Inzaghi believes the Rossoneri have nothing to lose as they prepare to take on rivals Juventus at the San Siro on Saturday night.

The Diavolo have two wins from their opening two matches and have surprised pundits with their play, and the 41-year-old believes Milan’s good start can spur them on against the Bianconeri.

“Tomorrow will be a great match, I am happy for my team,” Inzaghi stated at his pre-match press conference.

“We can play without having anything to lose. We know their strength but we are playing at the San Siro and this is an advantage to us. We will need the classic perfect match and we will give it our all.

“We know their strength but we won’t start as though we are already defeated. I repeat, San Siro with the supporters can help us pull off the feat.

“I am looking at the growth of my side and for that reason I say that it would have been better to face Juve in a few months. Fortunately we earned six points from our first two matches.

“Obviously I will keep an eye on the result but on the pitch I want to see an improvement from my side. It will be the maximum for the players to take part in a match like this.

Inzaghi will have Fernando Torres and Stephan El Shaarawy available to him after the duo missed last week’s match against Parma, though the tactician is unsure who will start.

“I have an embarrassment of riches in every area, I will evaluate things everytime I send them out. In the coming hours I will choose the attack against Juve, but it is good to have valid alternatives on the bench.

“Torres wanted to play against Parma and until 19h he wanted to be on the pitch but we decided not to risk him. I see that they are both ready [Torres and El Shaarawy] but I will decided at the end.
