Lazio’s Simone Inzaghi has admitted that he would like to establish himself as a coach in Serie A.
The younger brother of legendary striker Filippo Inzaghi is currently the team’s Primavera coach but hopes to eventually make his debut in Italian football’s top flight just as the elder Inzaghi has done this season with AC Milan.
“It’s a dream of mine to coach Lazio in Serie A,” he stated to Sports Mediaset XXL.
“And although I’d like to see the Biancocelesti fight for the Scudetto this season like Milan, Juventus, Roma, and Napoli are all still a step ahead the rest of the group.”
Lazio, who lost their opening fixture against Milan, will hope to re-start as they take on Cesena in their first home fixture of the 2014-2015 Serie A season.
