However, Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport reports that Juve rejected the possibility of making a quick profit on the young Frenchman.
Having signed on a five year contract worth €700,000 per season, Coman was reportedly the subject of a €5 million bid from Arsenal.vHowever, that the offer was rejected out-of-hand by Juventus.
Coman is not the first French youngster to make a bosman switch to the Serie A champions, with Paul Pogba’s arrival from Manchester United in 2012 since hailed as a brilliant piece of business with the midfielder going on to be one the most highly-rated young talents in Europe.
Juve will be hoping Coman can follow in his compatriot’s footsteps, and the early signs are encouraging, with the youngster impressing on his debut.
