Juventus striker Carlos Tevez has praised Inter for the signings they were able to make during the summer transfer window and believes the race for the Scudetto isn’t only between the Old Lady and Roma.

The 30-year-old feels the Nerazzurri made smart moves by landing players like fellow Argentine Pablo Osvaldo and thinks that coach Walter Mazzarri can help the San Siro outfit have a positive 2014-15 campaign.

Tevez spoke to the Gazzetta dello Sport about Juventus’ main adversaries in the fight for the Serie A title this season and commented on Inter’s successful summer.

“The Scudetto race only between Juventus and Roma? I don’t agree, because AC Milan are also equipped to do very well,” said the Argentine. “Their history also motivates them to aim for a Scudetto.

“Then you also have to watch Inter, one of the other greatest sides in Italian football. I loved what they were able to do during the market.

“They brought in some strong, solid players, who also have experience, specifically Nemanja Vidic, Gary Medel and Pablo Osvaldo.

“Not to mention that they also have Mazzarri, a coach who knows how to greatly prepare for games, a real hard worker. So, to me, Inter is already a very strong team.”
