Serie A resumes after the international break and champions Juventus welcome Udinese to the Juventus Stadium on Saturday evening at 20:45.

Both sides opened their accounts with wins in the opening round of fixtures. The Bianconeri usurped Chievo 1-0 away from home and Udinese having a comfortable 2-0 victory over Empoli.

The Bianconeri will be calling on the strength of their squad with several major players out with injury. Andrea Pirlo, Arturo Vidal and Andrea Barzagli all out injured with Giorgio Chiellini also missing through suspension. Fears have been allayed over the fitness of Carlos Tevez and is expected to play, while Alvaro Morata is also rumoured to be in line for some game time.

Claudio Marchisio will continue in the absence of Pirlo with Martín Cáceres replacing Barzagli and with the prospect of Roberto Pereyra making his first competitive start for Juve against his former club, replacing the injured Vidal.

The partnership of Fernando Llorente and Tevez may be reunited despite the impressive debut of young Frenchmen Kingsley Coman in the opening game against Chievo.

Udinese also suffering from injuries with highly rated young goalkeeper Simone Scuffet missing along with full-backs Gabriel Silva and Giovanni Pasquale.

Juventus did the double over their visitors from Udine last season without conceding a goal with a 1-0 in Turin then a 0-2 win in the Stadio Friuli.

Since then, both clubs have changed coaches with Massimiliano Allegri at the helm of the champions and Andrea Stramaccioni hoping to rebuild his career with Udinese. Stramaccioni inflicted the only loss to the Bianconeri in their own stadium whilst in charge at Inter, and in all their previous meetings as coaches, Allegri has never won against a side coached by Stramaccioni.

As always, ever green striker Antonio Di Natale will be key for the Zebrette and having already opened his account with two goals against Empoli will be once again in the running for the Capocannoniere.

Expected starting XIs

Juventus – Buffon, Caceres, Bonucci, Ogbonna, Lichtsteiner, Pogba, Marchisio, Pereyra, Asamoah, Llorente, Tevez.

Udinese – Karnezis, Heurtaux, Danilo, Domizzi, Widmer, Allan, Guilherme, Badu, Piris, Muriel, Di Natale.
