Lazio forward Miroslav Klose believes Lazio were lacking luck in their 1-0 defeat to Udinese on Thursday.

Cyril Thereau scored the only goal for Udinese at the Stadio Olimpico, but Klose thought Lazio played well.

“We created so many chances without being able to find the goal,” Klose told Sky Sport Italia after the game.

“We lacked luck. We played very well, but we just could not score the all-important goal.

“It was great to play with Djordjevic. He is a great player and more importantly a great man. He has great movement, I love it as it makes my job easier. But ultimately it is the coach who decides who plays with who.

“This Lazio side is the strongest since I arrived at the club, we have been working very well in training and I am sure we’ll come back stronger after this game.”
