Lazio are keen to keep hold of star midfielder Antonio Candreva despite increased interest from the likes of Tottenham, Arsenal and Liverpool.

The 27-year-old had been linked with a summer move that never materialised and now club president Claudio Lotito is ready to offer the Italy international a contract extension until 2019 in a bid to keep him with the Bianocelesti or to command a big transfer fee should he be sold.

According to The Daily Express, the trio of Premier League sides remain keen on the player and are eager to push for a January move with Liverpool the most interested party.

However, Lazio are still reluctant to sell the attacking midfielder and are reportedly prepared to offer him the captaincy along with an increased wage of almost €2 million per year as they fight to keep him at the Stadio Olimpico.

Candreva made 37 appearances for the Aquile during the 2013-14 Serie A season and scored 12 times.
