Liverpool forward Fabio Borini has launched a rather confusing outburst on Twitter, after a failed move away from Anfield on deadline day.
The 23-year-old had been linked with a move away from the club all summer, and after previously knocking back a transfer to Sunderland, he again rejected a transfer after Liverpool accepted an initial €12 million bid from Queens Park Rangers.
The deal reportedly fell through due to the Italian’s wage demands.
So he took to Twitter to admit that he was the one who decided to remain with Liverpool.
Finally the madness is finished! I protected the MAN and the player that I am today…

Borini spent last season on loan at Sunderland, and will finding himself down the pecking order at Liverpool, with Daniel Sturridge, Rickie Lambert and new signing Mario Balotelli all ahead of him.
