Talks have broken down between Livorno and Hellas Verona over the transfer of versatile Luca Siligardi.

Following the Amaranto’s relegation to Serie B last season, it was expected that many of their top assets would be set to leave the club.

However, one of those men who will not be leaving is Siligardi who was wanted by Andrea Mandorlini’s men but they could not agree a deal and the transfer will now no longer go through, according to reports coming from the Ata Hotel.

Siligardi, 26, came through the youth system at Inter but failed to make a first team appearance during his time at the Nerazzurri.

He made 26 appearances for Livorno in Serie A last season and managed five goals but could not do enough to stop them being relegated.
