Roma midfielder Radja Nainggolan has thanked the fans for the ovation he was given during his side’s 2-0 victory over Hellas Verona.
Two late goals from Alessandro Florenzi and Mattia Destro preserved Roma’s winning start to the season, and Nainggolan appreciates the great performance, which saw him loudly cheered as he left the field before the end.
“Beautiful and exciting, was the choir [of fans]. Chills.”, the Belgian international said on his official Twitter profile.
“It was an especially great performance against a hard opponent. Now we rest in the days before our next match.”
The 26-year-old arrived at the Giallorossi in the January transfer window of 2014 from Cagliari.
