Rafael Benitez’s future as the coach of Napoli is increasingly uncertain following the Partenopei 3-3 draw with Palermo.
Napoli are in struggling following a turbulent start to the season which has seen them knocked out the Champions League while domestically they have taken only four points from their opening four league fixtures.
President Aurelio De Laurentiis is, according to Il Mattino, ready to give the Spaniard more time but he expects a dramatic change in both results and performance starting with the weekend game at Sassuolo.
Its believed that Benitez will have his position re-evaluated following the match against Torino on October 5. Only then will De Laurentiis consider the dismissal of his coach.
Luciano Spalletti, Roberto Mancini and Francesco Guidolin are already being linked with the position should Benitez lose his job.
