Palermo face competition for John Guidetti from Ajax. Premier League champions Manchester City would be shopping him around and have reportedly entered talks regarding the possible move of the forward to the Dutch capital.
Recently, Serie A side Palermo was considered the primary destination where the 22-year-old forward would seek more fist team football.
However, Tuttomercato reported that the Swede may make a move back to the Eredivisie, where had a very successful loan spell with Feyenoord earlier in his career.
Despite scoring 20 goals in 23 appearances for the Rotterdam club in 2011/12 season however, Guidetti has still not made an official debut for the Premier League champion after two seasons at the Etihad Stadium.
