Palermo are looking to sign Roma striker Marco Borriello before the end of the transfer window.

The Rosanero recently signed centre-forward Simon Makienok from Brondby, but are still expected to add another attacker ahead of the 2300 CET deadline on Monday.

According to Sky Sport Italia, Palermo are pursuing Borriello with negotiations expected to last until the last hours of the window.

Borriello had been linked with a loan to Cesena, but is thought to prefer a move to Sicily.

It is also reported that Palermo are interested in Lokomotiv Moscow forward Victor Obinna.

The Nigeria international started his European career at Chievo scoring 20 goals in 86 appearances, before joining Inter in the summer of 2008.

Obinna returned to Chievo on-loan from Lokomotiv for the second-half of the 2013-14 season and scored 2 goals in 10 appearances.
