After Amauri left Parma to join Serie A rivals Torino the Gialloblu are closing in on a deal for another experienced frontman in Sergio Floccarri who is set to arrive from Sassuolo.
It will be the 32-year-old strikers’ second period at the Ennio Tardini after spending the spending the 2011-12 season on loan at the club scoring eight times in 28 Serie A appearances.
The Ducali have moved extremely quickly to replace Brazilian-born Amauri with Tuttomercatoweb confirming that they closed the deal for the veteran striker in a very short space of time.
Floccari made 14 Serie A appearances for Lazio during the first-half of the campaign last term before a move to the Neraverdi saw him feature a further 15 times and netting his only league goal of the season.
