Parma confirm sale of defender to Sampdoria

Algerian international Djamel Mesbah has signed for Sampdoria from Parma.

The Argentine attacking midfielder Juan Antonio has moved to the Ducali as part of the exchange deal that sent Mesbah to the Ligurian side but he was immediately moved on from the Stadio Ennio Tardini on loan.

Parma confirmed on their official website the sale of the 29-year-old left-back Mesbah to the Blucerchiati in a permanent deal and the purchase of Antonio.

The 26-year-old Antonio has signed for the Crociati on a permanent basis as part of the exchange deal for Mesbah but the club officially announced that he has moved on immediately to Lega Pro side FeralpiSalo on loan.

Mesbah played 24 times in the 2013-14 Serie A season, 10 games with Parma and 14 during a loan spell and Livorno and he scored one goal for both sides.

Antonio spent the 2013-14 season on loan in Serie B with Brescia where he played 13 times and scored once.
